I had been stalking Laura's profile page for a couple of days trying to build up the courage to send her a message. I went back and forth but there was something about her smile I just couldn't let go. So i did it.

Laura and I had been talking for about a week,

A friend of mine, Kenny, was having a New Years party and I decided to take a leap of faith and invite her to the party. much to my dismay I ended up having to work that night, but she came anyway. I knew then that this woman was fearless and someone I wanted to get to know.

I walked her over to the bar and ordered some drinks. I assured her that she was in good hands as i returned to work, praying that she wouldn't leave.

As it was getting closer to midnight I made my way over to her, still at the bar, making friends with everyone around her. A few shots and a few beers in she was the life of the party. People where gathering and getting their drinks ready to bring in the New Year. We counted down the seconds to the end of the year and the beginning of what would be Mr. and Mrs. Young.
